Metal grease filters

Original and compatible metal mesh or blade grease filters for all types and brands of kitchen hoods.

First barrier for fumes and vapors, grease filters are an essential component for kitchen hoods, as they prevent grease from reaching the motor, electrical parts and other internal components essential for the operation of the hood. Present in both extractor and filter hoods (hoods without a flue), in the latter they are coupled with active carbon filters to allow total purification of the air that will then be recirculated in the environment.

Regular maintenance of grease filters

Washable by hand or in the dishwasher, maintenance of the grease filters is essential to allow the hood to perform its function. Clogged, saturated and grease-filled filters compromise the extraction capacity of the hood which, in addition to being ineffective in eliminating fumes and odors, will also force the motor to work more intensely, leading to an increase in the appliance's consumption.

Make sure to carry out maintenance on the filters approximately every two months (depending on the intensity of use of the hood) to keep them clean and able to let air pass through and retain dirt.

Follow all the washing instructions on the dedicated page.

When to replace the metal filter

Is the metal filter too dirty and you can't clean it thoroughly? Is it holed or have the metal mesh torn or widened? These are all signs that make you understand that the filter can no longer be washed and needs to be replaced with a new one. Search for the filter model in the search bar and order it to make your hood look new again!
